Looks like @NaffNaffBobFace Face and @Ezz are still chasing the proverbial ambulance in their mini. But if it smells clean then it is clean I suppose, with fabreeze in the air and shit all over the walls.
I have no idea what this means. Is the shit in the Ambulance or the Mini?

And is it a BMW Mini, an Austin Mini, a Rover Mini or a British Leyland Mini? Because that's quite important.

I drive a 23 year old Citroen AX if that helps with the analogy?

lol... forgot you folks don't get American slang... In America we call people who exploit people or situations "ambulance chasers". This term was given to lawyers that try to exploit victims after a tragedy for their own gain. It may not always be monetary but it can ideological as well.

Ah, right.

I was going to say if it was a British Leyland Mini that thing isn't chasing anything, they were fairly underpowered and terribly unreliable as they aged, especially if it was built on a Friday afternoon.

Maybe we should cover the walls beforehand
Yeah, thats not the kind of thing you want to watch.

I was trying to find a funny youtube video about train commuters laying a log in the middle of the carrige to support my statement but couldn't find the original news video... the other videos... well, I have disturbed myself.

I was right though, it's not the kind of thing you want to watch. O_o

I don't think that politicians as a group are going to do anything, ever. At least not on their own. I don't think they see it as in their best interest.

If they resolve this issue, then how in the heck would they be able to tell if they're going to have enough votes in the next election? That's what happens when you resolve a divisive issue. People start agreeing, then what's the difference between left and right after that?

If you guys would have stuck with GB you would maybe have a King now who doesn't need votes. Everything would be better \s

"Those guys"... But you don't have a King either, yet. You and I both have a Queen at the moment. How is Liz doing anyway? I just live in the US, I'm not a citizen. I'm Canadian. My mother was American though, and wife is American, 3rd generation Bohemian/American in fact.

Well some interesting reports on my TV 6 o'clock news just now:

POTUS has suggested on top of banning bump stocks raising the age of buying a wider range of weapons to 21 and bringing in a stricter set of background checks including comprehensive mental health checks.

No sign of a register of owners, not quite a secure storage law in homes with young children, but what has been suggested so far are quite a few steps along the journey...

He also suggested arming teachers, the NRA was reported to have backed this measure.

Well, i'm going to remain neutral on this because I think that as compromise it's a decision America needs to make. It's not one I personally feel is 100% perfect - do I think arming Teachers will lead to escalation? Definitely how can it not...? But thats compromise, and if thats the NRAs price to ensure they don't block the only opportunity in a hundred years for the Militia to be "well-regulated" well maybe it's time the compromises were made...

But this can't be a Pandoras Box, once the teachers are armed that isn't a "thats just the way it is now" moment: the first teacher that goes Postal and pulls a pistol on a naughty class and plugs 'em the concept of teachers with guns needs to be re-evaluated.

But its been too long. Too many dead when they shouldn't be. Doing nothing is no longer an option. Time to do something. Anything. As long as it works.
