I don't think that there's any spare room for any cargo in a hoplite, but it is able to travel with crew far longer than the valk.

I think in the Valk originally the area where you were going to be able to put a vehicle was not going to be equipped with a Cargo Grid. That meant you'd have to load up one. box. at. a. time. if you wanted to run cargo.

They have now made that area a cargo grid, no remodeling required, so as well as being able to put a vehicle there you'll be able to just buy stuff on mass from shops and it'll be popped in your ship for you. The one catch is unlike dedicated cargo ships it won't let you stack them one box on top of the other.

So the Hoplite may not be able to unless you get a token couple of SKU between the two rows of seats? I might be wrong, we'll have to see how the rework goes :)
