1v1 hydrogen fuel shouldn't be an issue unless you're doing something very wrong.
However, if you're fully engaging against a pack you can run out of fuel. Once you start getting below 15% it is time to seriously consider using the rest of it to make an opening to jump away and have some to spare in case they follow you.
