Like I said before, I'll take place in massive-scale publicized campaigns of griefing for fame and prizes. I've been accused of griefing because people didn't understand how we were making the piracy work (namely that I blow up the cargo ship carrying the pre-scanned valuables and get concordokken'd followed by some associates of mine scooping up what remains of both vessels and skittering off into space -- with insurance rates at the time being static and the market being very inexpensive it was sometimes slightly profitable for me to go out and get blown up [fuck, that's a long parenthetical]). I don't particularly care to grief for it's own sake. Tears are still nice, though very rare now. Around '06 in EVE was the peak of people sending you an earnest message asking why you would have destroyed their precious 4M isk cruiser in 0.3 space. I remember once I replied to a pretty long why message that culminated in asking for me to pay for his uninsured ship with something along the lines of "I wanted your shit, no." I then got a small (<1M) odd amount bounty put on me by him, and it took me about a week to realize he had placed a bounty with 100% of his isk and uninstalled. I felt a little bad about that, but I still wasn't buying him no ship. Anyway, that's about the closest I come to griefing.
