Let me float an idea here and see if it'll blend:

For Operation YawSpoon we take it as 2 parts. First part will involve our own invasion of Vanduul space and capturing as many large ships as possible while the 2nd part will involve selling those same ships to other players for a massive profit which we will use to fund our own forces so we can continue to capture and sell thus building our war chest up so we can afford several capital ships. We will then use our new might to take over our won corner of the galaxy. And Auroras, must by Auroras.

As sad as it sounds, I actually find that really appealing.

Maybe there would be forward operating bases with Starfarers and other repair/re-supply type ships along with guys in in EVA suits zipping around inspecting the battered remains of a fleet that's returned from some Op to resupply and get reinforcements before going back out to the front.

I learned in planetside 2 how to ram fighters with a space whale. I should be ok. I'm just hoping they allow for possibly an ammo depot variant of the starfarer to resupply that as well. Although it's more likely they'l stick that in the Crucible to make them important during combat instead of only after.
