I wish I had the time. I want to move out onto some property with no restrictions. When do you start to build your simpit?
I only had one vision, 2 side consoles where my sticks and throttle would fit in and a nice monitors stand. Then came the chair design, wait a second, the pedals also must get positioned better. 10 weeks later I could start to paint.I have this vision in my head of a shed with the front/workspace jutting out to look like the front of an Aurora.
Fantastic work wish i could hire you to work on my renovationSo I wanted a bit of a space for myself and I went from a messy corner in my yard to a new man cave/office.
Started with this mess.
The shell of the shed.
Adding a deck because what shed doesn't need a deck
And I started moving stuff into it today. It's a bit of a mess but it's my mess :grinning:
That is just an ivy vine that was growing there. No crack, I even went out to double check. I really didn't want to have to jack this thing up to replace that.Looks damn awesome.
But what about closing in the bottom so wild animals, insects and such don't get in there and start building? That would be my major concern.
I like the rails around the deck btw. Good job.
-Edit- in your last pic showing off the rails, do I spy a split in your concrete support on the far right side?
I'm glad it wasn't a crack. Yeah dogs will keep everything out from under there easily. Are you going to cover the deck? That is just an ivy vine that was growing there. No crack, I even went out to double check. I really didn't want to have to jack this thing up to replace that.
I'm not going to close the whole bottom. I've got dogs that keep any animals out and I spray every couple months for bugs.
I'm worried if I close the bottom off it would be the perfect place for snakes to start nesting. As long as no rattlesnakes or coral snakes don't try to make a home the dogs will manage any other little nasties.
I am however planning to add some planters in the front to make that all look better.
Nope, the deck is in the shade during the hotest parts of the day. Also, I would need to get additional HOA approval being it would be visible from the road. Hell I was shocked I got HOA approval to even build the shed.I'm glad it wasn't a crack. Yeah dogs will keep everything out from under there easily. Are you going to cover the deck?
