Like all snub craft ... i feel it needs a dedicated home to pair with. That could be a ship(s) or even an outpost module.

Super useful if it’s that tiny but includes a Q drive. Without one, not so much. Moving a carrier within striking distance of a short range fighter with an Atlas drive leaves the carrier relatively safe. If a carrier has ships with no drive, it needs to put its nose right in the nasty.
Without a drive would still be great defense for a Beerfarer, 890J or some such.

Little hot but the stealth switch should knock that down to about 4k. Not bad at all. The EM is silly low.

Not quite what I expected for the Fury. But its close enough and feels like the right size/shape for the role I expected to see it fill.
Looks like the CIG concept team did a nice job on this as the entry level Mirai.

I always look on in wonder at the MIS, as maybe the only true combat ship with more beds than it needs. I always wonder about it as a special opportunity. It's very annoying that CIG locked down the dorsal turret as it gets in the way of so much, but it might not get in the way of the Fury since it's quite low in the centerline.
Why does this matter? It looks like 3 Fury might fit in the MIS. If that's so, you have beds for the MIS pilot and all the Fury pilots, you have the extended range of the Hemera, you have glorious stealth. . .all the Lancers have excellent stealth. And of course the S3 missiles are good from 10km. Combined with their stealth there are no cap ships that can detect them from inside their missile range.
So what you get is a very small space combat unit with 3 fighters and an avalanche of missiles. It remains to be seen whether this is a more efficient team of 4 players than flying a Redeemer, but there are no stealth versions of the Redeemer. This form of combined force can certainly tackle objectives most others cannot, and they would be easy to deploy all across the known worlds. Perfect when combined with Eclipse so long as the bomber has a home with bed, head and galley. You could for example, fly 3 of these small groups alongside a Liberator with 3 Eclipse on top, and stock the entire interior of the Lib with ordinance--just fill it with missiles and torps. That's a tiny task force of 13-14 players that could kill Vanduul for months at a time.

He also calculated\demonstrated that you could fit 76 on a Liberator as well - 16 on each of the upper pads, the same in hangar space below both pads, plus 12 on the front pad.
I'd have gone with a more conservative 54 on the Liberator, but either way, it would be a decent carrier - They just need to get it built.
The cheaper they make this thing, the more within my budget I'll get. And turn one into a Tonk.
Now just imagine a Mirai version of the Starfarer. Now this performance company exists in the same MISC stable, the Starfarer Gemini could abandon the Aegis refit relationship and be a Mil-spec MISC/Mirai same company ownership custom job for the UEE.
With a body kit.
And a mounting point for a Gundam.

No quantum drive makes it pretty useless. I mean, sure, in Arena Commander, especially on a race track, cool. But in the PU, even going from orbit to the surface of one of the moons in Stanton is tedious.

But Mirai is still it's own brand, its own company that was clearly stated in last inside SC they separated the brands and the ships.. ;)
They share a lot of tech from Misc that doesn't make it a Misc ship anymore..
As It is rebranded to Mirai..
