I was flat broke when the Kickstarter happened. I could not even afford an Aurora. It's not that I didn't want to back the game then, it was that I could not. I could not afford to back the game till 2016. I had to turn my life around first.

I knew about it and a few people who bought big, but I was sceptical and didn't want to risk it. Then saw the sheer volume of money they were raising and finally took the plunge. Wish I did back back then though.
