Holy Mother of God....

That said, it's PCIe 4.0. So.....lot of questions on how good it will be on older systems. I am still at least a year or two out from upgrading my system and I was hoping to upgrade my video card as a way of keeping up to date. If this system requires 4.0, I need to make a decision.

Oh, and that 3090 looks.....OMG...

3090 is the new titan card release of Sept 24 [I think it was] (starting at $1499)
3080 will be half the price of the 2080 ti and run way faster with improved cooling, release of Sept 17 (starting at$699)
3070 will perform as good or better than the 2080ti as well better cooling but not the innovative design of the 3080 and 3090 release end of Sept (starting at$499)

What a blessing that 3070 for all gamers!

$500 for 2080ti performance? The future is here!

I think this is the first time that a better card costs less (if i understand their new old namingconvention right)

RTX 3090 $1500 vs Titan $2500
RTX 3080 $700 vs RTX 2080Ti $1000
RTX 3070 $500 vs RTX 2080 $700
or with the old naming scheme at least stayed roughly the same.

3070 eguals 2080ti:
So all those sweet 2080ti are devalued by at least 70%?

power usage:
power usage was leaked a couple of days ago with 320-350 watt. So thats a significant gain.

PCIE:
Difference between PCIE 4.0 and PCIE 3.0 x16 should be marginal (atm). But yeah thats something to consider.

MSI RTX 30 product page is up.
No prices yet, but at least they showed Ventus and Gaming Trio cards with the fans on the same side, not on the opposite sides like in Nvidia Founders models.

I am dubious as to whether they really will launch at those price points, but if they do then BUY ONE AT LAUNCH DAY!!!

You can bet your bottom dollar supply shortages are gonna push prices up after launch.

LOL with the Push pull concept I will have to reconfigure my case or I be will venting the heat of the rear fan right onto my 3 M.2 drives. Hmm might have to take another look at the ASUS.

I was thinking this, in my current setup the GPU will exhaust dirrectly into my CPU tower cooler which blows directly up out of the top of the case. No good having all that powah if it thermal throttles my CPU and creates an artificial bottleneck...
