I have the armada pack(upgraded some of the ships) and a Polaris. I won't be buying any more ships and from what I've read, many others are in a similar boat. That being said, i would donate towards an org funded purchase of one.

Since this is Anvil's first Capital Ship, I think it should have "teething problems." Things that inexperience would typically produce.

I live a decently carefree single life lol.
I expect the pricepoint to be $6000-6500.
I imagine the size to be about 500-700 meters.
And yea, I would have had no hesitations before, but now en days it feels like they are throwing away any semblance of the original vision to make a generic MMO on top of the stuff we have already.
I dunno.. buying in for another $6k to a game that may just end up a boring grind/level up system with barely any sandbox activity is kinda ... so I hesitate

For me its the move to tiered/colored armor and stuff.. the whole green, blue, purple, gold...
it feels very slapped on last moment because they dont know how to make a true sandbox.
The Star Citizen I backed for (since 2013) was hyper realistic... a universe where everyone was on an equal playing field and the only thing that differentiated us was our choices and skill. Now its coming down to item stats and rarity (and the grind for it)... and with MK2 ships, it will come down to ship progression too instead.
Im trying to find the right equivalency to express my feelings but its kinda like if dark souls got WoW armor and levels/skills...
A star wars interwoven universe.. to WoW dungeons, complete with instancing, raid bosses, and RNG loot tables...

Of course they are going to make big sales to the whales, but after launch I like the idea of some ships being for military use only. That way building one would require players to collect a series of blueprints from unsavory places (Hull, Power systems, Weapon systems, life support systems, Comms, Ect). In real life I can go down to the auto dealer and pick up a sportscar made by Saab, but I won't see any of their Gripen fighter jets on the show floor. Any military or governmental organization would reserve some levels of martial power for their use only. Can't have Bob Everyman heading in to work each day astride a nuclear fast attack submarine, can we? Of course not, for that would be silly.
