Heartbreaking news...
Eventhough the thought have always been there in the back of my head that my great and wonderful friend was not among us anymore, I have hoped that he would recover and come back to us.
Atleast now we know...
Cosmic was the reason I joined TEST and through that made a lot of new friends.
He lived for Star Citizen and this community,
He will be truly missed by my son and I.
May he be "Citybopping and barhopping" in his Freelancer in the heavenly skies.
You will never be forgotten Cosmic!

I will be petitioning that our first space station in game bear his name as a memorial. To many of our fellow org members have gone on to the next life without seeing the completion of this task, it would be fitting if we could provide something to represent their belief and faithfulness in this endeavor.

Geez :c he was one of the first folks in TEST I spoke to back when I first joined, he really will be missed.

Cosmic will be missed. He was a beacon of happiness and hopefulness of what this game could be. I can still hear his voice joining Discord asking what all we were doing fun in the game. Cosmic rest easy brother and clear skys, the rest of us have the watch! o7

When he came into a channel everybody would just shut up so we could hear him speak.
He would then drone on about some obscure Evocati bug and how he was reporting and replicating issues. He loved doing bug hunting!
Well to be fair when he started speaking, his enthusiasm and booming voice kinda drowned out everyone else. My wife said he sounded like the AM radio hosts her dad listened to constantly in her youth lol.

Farewell Cosmic, you beat us to being amongst the stars but not in the way any of us would have wanted. One day I'll be sharing a drink with you up there but until then there will be forever a corner of my Freelancer which will be City Bopping and Bar Hopping amongst the 'Verse.

I'm feeling this one pretty acutely. Ol' Cosmic and I joined TEST within a few weeks of each other. He was literally the first person to greet me here, almost 10 years ago.
Ol' Cosmic and I spent many an hour theory crafting and talking the virtues of the Freelancer DUR, back when she was just a gif.
The excitement that ol' boy had in his voice when he jumped into general on Discord was infectious to say the least.
Cosmic, you will be terribly missed. You were one of a kind; from your adorable little birds that you posted in introduction threads to your Cityboppin' and Barhoppin'. You were kind, you were helpful, and you were always here when us wayward souls wandered away and then back again.
I'm sure you've now got your love beside you, a fully stocked bar fridge and a copy of SC that has no bugs.

Indeed he was always quick to welcome new folks.
When I joined I told him I backed the game back in 2012 and he promptly hailed me as some sort of OG backer. It was kinda embarrasing lol.
