I'm not a fan of workplace secret Santa, but this year I had to help out the wife with hers. The one she pulled likes to run and changed his fb profile picture to Vader recently, so this is what I slapped together.
Models used from thingiverse, edited by me, I think it turned out pretty well.
Oh maaaaan, I just noticed a spot of painting error I forgot to fix... The pic is from yesterday night so the model is already out of my reach. Damn, nothing I can do about it now...

So I just got an Oculus Quest 2 for Christmas, and today I tried that free Rollercoaster app that it has in the store. Well actually, first the missus gave it a go after completing the first steps demo/tutorial thingy which she enjoyed a lot, but she freaked out after 5 seconds on the rollercoaster, the part where it's supposed to set up intensity levels... So I wanted to one up her naturally, and turned off the anti motion sickness "helmet"' which is there to provide a fixed object that is always in your eyesight and moves with your head exactly, to help cope. Turning it off is an option but is labeled as Crazy Mode. Bah, I'm no puny child, I don't need no stinkin helmet!!
Then I went for the first "comfortable" level ride (T-rex lvl if you played it)
It's been 3 hours, and I'm still on the brink of throwing up just by thinking about it, while sat down.
12 out 10 IGN, puking on virtual raptors is where it's at!!!
(to be fair I did try quiet a few games with smooth locomotion as well as intense stuff like Doom VFR, and the headset is awesome and I had no issues with any of them making me sick or such)

I can't believe I just now liked the top post. @Shive you should publish the whole thing in a book somehow.
So I've finally watched Endgame wit the the missus, cos after almost 3 years this was the first time we had half a day truly free.
Yes that "old" MCU movie, the last one as far as I'm concerned. It was good. I still hold that Thanos did nothing wrong!
Also today I was slicing up some barbarians in Blades&Sorcs when accidentally I hit the cup holder on my desk. Spent 15 minutes cleaning up the spill, thankfully no fragments cos the glass didn't fall. Oculus controller got soaked but still works fine. 12/10 IGN would hit my table again, the way the splashing sound of beverage hitting the floor synced with the blood splatter from the cut on screen combined with the haptic feedback was gloriously unreal!
