Hadn't been able to play in awhile. For some reason 2.3 hated my computer, but 2.4 running smoother than ever (no idea why). I know, I finally try out 2.4 and they're already saying 2.5 is right around the corner. I'm a late bloomer!
So I finally jumped back on and all the controls had changed. Before my unconditional surrender to the Vanduul, or more likely, the great asteroid menace, I found help! This guy made some really helpful crib sheets. Check them out if you no longer know up from down or left from right.

Pin target puts the focused target in a list. Before 2.4 the 2 pinned targets got their own location pointer. Usually I pinned 2 friendly targets, so I could easily locate them without focussing them. Very practical when doing supportive fight, hunt down a target, locate friendly again and hunt down other fighters on his/her ass. Now the extra location pointers don't work anymore.
It is only good to keep track of which friendlies are still around, but now it is possible to pin more then 2 targets

Oooow, he uses the G13, I used that before I bought my Warthog. I only had 4 buttons mapped, from left to right: boost/afterburner, counter measurements, pin target and target focus. The thumbstick was just awesome for strafing!!!!
