I think that's what you call a person that floats the keg at a party, but doesn't say or do anything about it so the next person has an unpleasant surprise.

Back during the early 3.x patches, while I was initially learning to do in game trading, I once foolishly put all except 5k aUEC into a shipping run, only to have a 30k strike mid quantum jump, which cost me over 70k aUEC. While that was a massive blow to my in game currency at the time, the thing that saved my sanity was knowing that when the next main patch would come, my starting income would be reset anyways. Now that CIG is working on installing persistence into the Verse, I'm thankful that I learned to NEVER invest more than 1/2 of my funds into any trade run at any given time. When I see newer players make the same mistake that I did that time & suffer my fate from my incident, I inform them that it's happened to many & to never make that mistake again if possible.
I have always wondered how so many people can have so little common sense. Especially when playing an imperfect game in alpha....
