670 gtx evga. Had to send in 1 of my 8gb gskill ram sticks for warranty so only 1 left in there. 750gb 840 Evo SSD. Many hard drives for many audio samples, movies, and porn of course.

Screenshot of workstation, dual monitor http://i.imgur.com/Z4oTyqQ.png
Awesome build! Don't forget to patch the 840 Evo! Apparently slight minor problem would slow down SSD over time like a harddrive.

Thanks, she's my baby. Waiting for us to get closer to SC launch before upgrading the 670's.
do yourself a favor and don't buy dual anything else. it's cheaper, and better, to just go up a tier. only reason you should ever use SLI is if you have a titan.

Ya I usually upgrade slowly - the second 670 was added 8 months after the first one for a cheap bump in performance.

My recent plan was to upgrade to a single 980, but I'm going to wait for another round of GPU's. That said, I had absolutely no issues with these 670's in SLI and the performance was great for the $$$. The new 970's in SLI are kicking butt and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again; single cards are better in some ways but I wouldn't dismiss SLI entirely... Titan or no

I did the same with my 7870. I regret that immensely, been more trouble than it's worth. Now that I've got a little extra cash, I plan to just wait till the R9 390 comes out and roll with it.

The only reason you SLI are for a couple of things:

1) If you have 3 or more monitors with high resolution.
2) If you are going to be using parallel computing for anything and need the power.
3) If you are going to be watching many porn videos at once.
