An anology is the source of a river - once it dries up there is there a river to be the source of? There are many contributers to a mighty river but that makes the sourse no less relevant.
As for this thread, it is an Alpha. We each and every one of us carry a fragment of the Omega, and one day the last of us will set the last piece down, intentionally or unintentionally beyond our control, and that will be the conclusion... When its only a test a test? If you tested and are testing is that really tested? What are the conditions for being tested?
Will we test the ignorance? or the Ignoree? Testing shall resume at 0500

Surely you have heard of reddit.com, an agglomeration of subforums for discussions on every topic under the sun. Forum members can 'upvote' posts they like, with the most upvoted posts making it to Reddit's front page. Famously, the most-upvoted post of all time said, simply, "Test post, please ignore."
When a bunch of Redditors on a gaming subforum decided to make an organization to take part in the cut-throat corporate competition that is Eve Online they named themselves 'Test Alliance, Please Ignore,' referencing that iconic post.
When our Dear Leader decided to make an org for Reddit gamers in Star Citizen, he in turn referenced that history and named the org 'TEST Squadron.' When I joined in 2014 the only requirements for membership were a Reddit account and a pulse - not sure if that's still true today. What is true is that we've grown way beyond Reddit.
When our webmaster @SeungRyul (praised be he) got version 1 of this forum up and running the very first post made was the one that kicked off this thread - you can check the timestamps.
Is this thread informative? Hell no! But the fact that we are still ignoring the instruction to ignore nine years on is a testament to our members' heritage of refusing to take anything too seriously, especially the voices of 'authority,' and that makes it important.

So I hear theres a party going on in here. I mean, that usually happens when someone shouts "Nothing to see here, just ignore the loud music, drunken debauchery, and disco lights behind me." At least thats what I hear, and if there is no party then what is this, a bunch of people just talking. How boring would that be and I'm pretty sure nothing like that would EVER happen on Test.
