There’s no interaction because you have bullied everyone else away. They’re obviously not allowed to discuss what you don’t approve of.

OTOH, neither of you need to open this thread. You could instead pretend to be adults.

The advent of one Star Wars site trying to cancel three others is informative, in just the same way that you trying to cancel me is informative. People get to see what we’re all about.

Besides, there obviously is interaction. You two both posted within an hour. So. . .your point was. . .?

Why waste your time being so wrong so consistently? Don't you have better things to do? Things like, I dunno...Go play in traffic? Pet a grizzly? Eat some silica packets? The fact of the matter is that the leader of our organization basically told you to shut your ass up, yet here we are. Go lick a ceiling fan.

So, I imagine since this has been moved to where no one can find it, it’s okay to give an update. A lot has happened on this topic that refuses to die. Lots of actors are suing Disney, Kathleen Kennedy has been ranting at Bob Iger, questions raised about whether Kennedy is staying as planned until 2027, explosions over at Marvel and more actors suing Disney because they feel they didn’t get enough a piece of the Deadpool & Wolverine pie. . .and it goes on and on and on. Amidst this, the madness has spread to the world of podcasting.

The big news is the Star Wars Explained channel under Mollie Damon, pressed YouTube hard to deplatform four other Star Wars commentary channels, under charges they had violated YouTube’s Terms of Service, when they complained about the writing in The Acolyte. Charges were, Star Wars channels like our beloved Star Wars Theory were guilty of bigotry when they explained how and why they didn’t like The Acolyte. “And would you please deplatform them and deprive them of a livelihood please?”

Well, YouTube very gingerly weighed in, examined the case carefully over several days, and decided none of these charges had substance—that all of the criticism was authentic and none of it concerned prejudices and biases that would be examples of hate on the platform and therefore should be excluded.

Theory then took up the mantle and responded, and that single vid pulled in 10.4 million views. Theory is the largest of the Star Wars commentary channels with 3 million subscribers. Somehow more than three times that found their way to his video response.

So yeah, this is all a big deal. It also looks like YouTube and hence Zuckerberg, are pulling back from their censorship program. I am guessing this is in response to the changes at Twitter and from the Twitter Files release before Congress. Censorship is getting a serious rethink.

So that’s the news. Who’d a thunk months after its closing, Acolyte could still be making headline stories? It’s true though, and tens of millions of views across a dozen Star Wars channels, people are still arguing, and even trying to remove one another’s financial support.

Just crazy.

Er - a bit Ironic coming from the guy that is singlehandedly keeping Accolyte in the "news" on this forum at least (and no doubt others)
