Ok, but some good has come out of this. I have wanted a raven for some time, and was super cheesed that I needed to get a drive to own one. So this morning, I got up really early and sniped an ebay auction, got one at $98.

You sir, inspired me.

I grabbed one for $100. The package has apparently shipped, so now I wait for a letter/package. Hopefully buddy is honest. His data seemed legit,going back to '03, and he posted a review for me as a buyer right away.
So depending on how long it takes to get a letter from the US using USPS First Class Mail Intl...

I don't have a decision yet. I have until Dec 31 to do something with the code. After that it expires.
