Maybe it's because I had an absolutely terrible time with the event earlier today, but I just didn't like this ad. And I usually do like Star Citizen ads.
I'm blaming the mission before the ad. Who've you thrown your lot in with?
Could only get the entry mission done for Hurston, for now.
Tried server hopping, but all the freight elevators for Microtech, Crusader, and ArcCorp were broken.

After about 17 hours of trying I managed to get the Tier 1 Hurston reward. Nothing else. I had to mine every fucking scu, refine and deliver it, because after the entry mission (3 tries) not a single elevator worked. Hooray. Mining gives you no money (because of course mining rewards don't fucking work) and takes 3 times as much time as hauling (find it, mine it, refine it, wait a fucking hour, load it, deliver it) for the same scu progress as hauling (load it, deliver it).
Well this sounds like something I don't have the time to try 
Only CIG can do a cargo based event forgetting that cargo elavators havent worked properly for the last year.

The reliance on the cargo elevators at outposts is... crazy.
They haven't worked right, and have been ignored for a long time, now they're center stage?
They removed the commodities from all other outposts for normal trade, to stop bottlenecks, while they created a new one with the elevators.
Why not use distribution centers too? Lagrange stations? Jump point stations? Would make sense for them too.
I want to do this event, I really do, but CIG seems to make it so difficult and time consuming for a casual player.

Just spent the last 45 minutes server/region hopping, logged in space above Wala to speed things up.
Every single freight elevator for ArcCorp entry mission was broken due to a stolen medpen blocking it.
Also, so many damn Raft's and other ships sitting/floating around abandoned is also obnoxious.
