We aren't actually. We did make and develop our own (along with all our military gear) a few decades ago.
It was part of our neutrality policy that we would be completely independent for development and production of our gear and vehicles.
It was kinda insane when you look back.
During the later part of the Cold war we where said to be one of the most militarized countries and have the third strongest air force in the world (after US and CCCP).

After much thought, this Tank is not Mk1 Tritton enough for me so i'll pass on this one. When we have somthing like a Mk4 (Male) I'll be a bit more interested :)

I used to live basically on the ground they tested the first tanks on so I'm a little bias :)
