It's pretty clear CIG designers are going through a "edgy pirate lord", which fits the current focus on Pyro and the introduction of Vanduul NPCs on Nyx.
Before that we had several industrial sets. Thus, I predict a shift to a more orthodox (i.e. boneless) paramilitar, mercenary or freelancer aesthetic to match the "frontier" flavour of the Nyx system.

These helmets. Did they not always spot that "Sometime in the future. Once we get around to do them shaders" tag?
The cool thing is though that with them physicalized-whazzever-thingy they did to helmets you could put those on display once they actually drop.
That would be some cool excibition piece for the old colletibles sideboard.

Judging from how I felt after my last landing (defined as a crash that I was able to walk away from) this is a good set of items. Handy.
