lets see, light fighter that is vanduul, i expect at least $150 bucks, 200 would not shock me at all. if its anything like the other vanduul ships it will be a hangar queen until you need to melt/CCU it for something better

Add me to the list of [DISAPPOINTED]. I do appreciate the wide variety of ships they are producing for this game, but I had my hopes up for another industry ship. I'll just have more time to save up, I guess.

So many light fighters now, what constitutes a heavy fighter? I want something with maybe 2-3 crew that packs a punch.

A heavy fighter will probably be a single fighter. I would think a long range fighter like the vanguard would be the best for 2-3 people.

Though maybe the turret will be manned in the f8 lightening.

It looks pretty don't I already have one of those "Khartu". I am only a recent follower but I am getting a little concerned that this game will be 90% ship fighting as that seems to be the majority of the ships and more to the point all those ships can do.

thats the only mechanic thats really working atm, there will be a broad spectrum of things you can do without the bang bang skeet skeet

A lot of fighter are being pushed because we will be getting squadron 42 first :) so those ships are higher on the list

I know but if loads of people have bought "fighters" they are not going to leave them parked in the garage during the game.

To be honest once we are in the real game people will be very weary of attacking someone unless they are very certain they wont lose or they have a good group with them, I wouldn't worry to much about running into them unless you are in unsafe space alone :)

personally im going to be trolling in my carrack 99.99% of the time, im really big into lore/easter eggs/ and exploration. i have a single fighter for test operations that require it. i may be wrong but i imagine that the game where you can do anything you want with badass ships to do it like the endeavor, connie, carrack ect. a lot of people would be taking part in other jobs. part of the big selling point of this game is multi-crew. yes there will be a few fighters that try to knock you out along the way but thats part of the adventure, and why bigger ships get bigger guns and more armor
