Honestly. Just look at the
'Fleet Repository' thread as that's what this post basically is. It's not super accurate as it relies on self reporting but it'll give you an idea.
It really doesn't matter the size of your fleet. I don't see owners of large fleets as dudes with bragging rights or whatever. I see it as people who believe in the project, have disposable income, and are willing to back it. I'm thankful that they're willing to back the game at that level, but we shouldn't put them on a pedestal, nor should it automatically translate to leadership positions within our Org. At the end of the day, you can have a $25k fleet and it really doesn't matter. You're still one pilot and can't man every single ship. That's where good Org mates and Org relations come in. When the game goes live, nobody will care about your Idris. They'll care whether you're able to fully crew said Idris....or not. If you're chill and cool to be around, guys will help you crew your ship. If you're an asshat, good luck crewing your capitals.
What I'm trying to say is, having a large fleet doesn't matter. The question to ask rather is..."Am I chill to be around with so my Org mates will crew my ship and conversely let me crew theirs?" That's one of the primary reasons why all you need to join TEST is an Aurora (and up), a good attitude, and unwavering loyalty to our Dear Leader. At the end of the day, we have way more ships than members.
