Yes, there was an update to Chrome that has changed the layout significantly. The menu bar is now at the bottom of the screen, about other things. There has been no change on this webpage that I am aware of. Was some Android Chrome update?
With the exception of the part where it now works for you, this has been my experience as wellOh, so it isn't just my crappy Chinese phone doing this?
Using latest Chrome (the full version downloaded from app store)

It started happening couple of days/week ago.
Opening the main Testsq page in Chrome locks up the webpage, but the browser and phone itself still responds. So I can open new tabs, close the browser and such, but cant touch/scroll inside the webpage.
It seems to get stuck for me once the top navigation/notification floating bar loads in.
Stangely, if I open a sub-page directly, as in opening a forum post directly in the adresse bar, it loads up fine and works.
Even the main page only exhibits this issue like 19 out of 20 times. Sometimes it just works, but that's rare.
Solution: I switched to Firefox, seems to work fine for now.
Edit: this time it workes for some reason, no crash. Anyways, as per the request from @August: before the total website overhaul it used to crash for me 80% of the time on Lumia 925. Winphone 8.1 using default browser. Just instant CTD. But after the website update it worked perfectly. God I loved that phone. it still has a much better camera and faster interface than this piece of crap....
Nope, that was a one off case of working for some reason, today I tried 4 times in chrome (old habits die hard...) and it locked up as usual. I have restarted the phone and cleaned the cache from inside the app, logged in again, still dead.Yes, there was an update to Chrome that has changed the layout significantly. it's by design, we crush stuff, into other stuff... and so on...Why does the TEST forum crash my phone?
I have the same phone, browser, and am logged into my account and had the exact same issues until this morning. Now it's working fine again. Possibly a Chrome update? My phone auto-updates overnight.Samsung Note 8

Update: nope, it didn't solve it. Still only works randomly.I have the same phone, browser, and am logged into my account and had the exact same issues until this morning. Now it's working fine again. Possibly a Chrome update? My phone auto-updates overnight.
Get iPhones you luddites!
It could be that, but more likely is that I taught myself to code overnight, then submitted a fix to Google to patch the issue with Chrome mobile and they pushed through my fix last night.I have the same phone, browser, and am logged into my account and had the exact same issues until this morning. It worked with Firefox, it worked with Safari, The Glorious Leader was not out of sync with Chrome, Chrome was out of sync with The Glorious Leader! It could be that, but more likely is that I taught myself to code overnight, then submitted a fix to Google to patch the issue with Chrome mobile and they pushed through my fix last night.
So it was me.
The Glorious Leader is infallable! All Hail The Glorious Leader! (Including Google).
Same here, Note 9, Chrome 71.0.3578.99. I also blame the snowChrome browser here. It doesn't really crash for me it just freezes up. If I close the tab and reopen it then it will work for a little while but I usually end up having to do that again after a few minutes of browsing. I blame the lack of snow.
DRINK SLURM!
