Holy shit mate... Perhaps I'm a victim of my glutton for punishment mindset, but will you actually have anything left to aim for when the game goes live?

Perhaps you'd be interested in buying my one of a kind ghost hornet :) (one of a kind because it has odd stains in the cockpit)
He likes to hide behind asteroids and........ watch.

And an unrelated update! Turns out I get access to the F7C trainer for having a constellation package, so I melted the fuck out of my hornet in favor of a gladius. With the leftover cash, picked up my very own Aurora finally.

Wait... I think I just Nailed it. You have a vast armada of shinies with LTI. I have a salvage boat. Insurance fraud anyone?

I also picked up a herald recently. Though the reason for that purchase was more to have my first LTI ship than anything else.

I'm considering dropping the money on the Herald and do a cross chassis swap for a fighter.... I'm leaning pretty hard on the gladius now. Like I want to reach out and touch it. It should be available for arena commander soon I hope :)

I'm really tempted by the Gladius, but I figure that's one I can hold out for a bit longer. I'm really interested in seeing what comes up of the Bulldog fighter. It'll be an Aegis starship, and so far I've loved all of their designs, especially the Retaliator and the Reclaimer. My avenger might get transformed there.

Yeah... the bull dog sounds interesting; but in the concept it sounds like a slow mean bad ass. Might be great in combat with some back-up; but not a true dogfighter from the concept. I hope I'm wrong because I'm interested to see it too..... that Gladius though. Man......

I have bought and melted:
All hornets available in the pledge store
The cutlass black and blue
All 300i
M50
Aurora LN

To get a feel for the ships and an idea how they work.

I own the Gladius with LTI. In my opinion, its the best looking ship and reminds me of traditional fighter planes. What can I say, I am old school.
It will serve me well as my primary ship around the verse.

I own the Redeemer with LTI. I wanted a sturdy and manouverable multicrew ship. At first I was madly in love with Cutlass blue. I must admit the stats of the Redeemer swayed me to get it and replace the cutlass. It also fits my fps ambitions perfectly and its heavy focus on combat is right up my alley.

I own the AMD mustang. It was free with my graphics card... So why not. I will probably donate this ship to TEST when PU comes out. It doesn't particularly fit any role I want to play.

I went ahead and did some melting and purchasing and stuff in the background this week. Here's what I have now:

Constellation Phoenix: She's my main squeeze. I love the concept of the constellation, and I love shiny things. And hot tubs.

M50: Racing is fun, and this ship is FUN to fly. I don't care if I have fun all the way into walls most of the time.

Gladius: Melted Hornet out in favor of a gladius. I realized that I am developing a style very similar to the top dogfighters, where brute force isn't going to cut it. I need manuverability, or I will be eaten. With bacon. I do NOT want to be served next to bacon. I love bacon. I also believe that the gladius will be king-boss of the arena when it comes out, striking a balance between manuverability, speed, and strength that is more adapt to my flying style.

Aurora LN 325A: I upgraded my aurora into a 325A so I could try it out in the arena, and get a better idea on what the gladius is going to be like. After a brief period of acclamation to the different ways the 300 series moves from the M50 I was used to, I started to realize why it and it's big brother the 350R own the arena right now.

Herald: This is my first ship with LTI, I kind of just bought it for the LTI and opportunity to change it into something else later. If I 'had' to fly it, I'd really just troll with it, hack people's communications and blast k-pop through their speakers to disorient and enrage them.

What you 'really' need, is a second greycat, so you can race in your hanger when the social module comes out...

Cutlass: My first ship, and the one I am looking forward to the most. Jack of all trades with an emphasis on maneuverability. Escort fighter, bounty hunting, piracy, light transport/salvage. It can do it all, and look sexy as hell doing it.

Gladius: it looks 5x sexier than the Hornet and looks to be a balls to the wall hypermanuverable glass cannon light fighter. I will probably suck at it but goddamn it looks good.

Gladiator: I have always had a love for bombers. Retaliator looked like too much ship for me (I'd rather have one rear gunner and half the torpedoes than need 4 extra gunners!) so I got the Gladiator. Missiles, torpedoes, fire support, oh my!

Redeemer: it's a killer whale armed to the teeth with guns, and is hard enough to penetrate enemy defenses and release a swarm of seamen. Or Marines, if you prefer.

Future purchases: I wanna say none but the lets be honest we've all been there and we've all spent more after that point.
