Have a happy work year, an amazing winter, and fun paying off all the Christmas bills!
I already had done this! :DGMT is 5 hours ahead of me, so it's only the afternoon. Add me to your list (Grimbli) and I can join you Wed, Fri, or Sat sometimes. You can fly! I'm horrible at it.
You are absolutely right, thats the excercise I'm absolving every day. Sometime its hard, but it helps to keep smiling ;)Definitely keep positive! That's the number 1 thing. Won't get anywhere without that.
See? This is an amazing story! I admire people like your girlfriend for being - and keeping - so strong! :)I try not to think that way because it doesn't really do anything for you. Instead, I think of what would happen if I stopped working out. I'd gain more weight, get tired easily, have health problems, and maybe even a heart attack. That's usually a good motivator.
It may not seem as if you're doing much, but it is helping you, Sam. My girlfriend has some pretty serious health issues and she was bound to a wheelchair when I met her. After a few surgeries she was able to walk again with a walker. After many months of work she's down to just using a cane, and that's only when she's going out of the house, she walks just fine without any support inside the house!
The bills - they were all for Star Citizen ships and beer for you and your brother, I assume? :DHave a happy work year, an amazing winter, and fun paying off all the Christmas bills!
I second that, but.... supposingly everybody is waiting until more content is available in SC. Right now you can do good combat, a few missions and since 2.6 also FPS.That said, most of my gaming time no TESTie is online. I'm more and more asking myself if TEST is really the best choice for me because during GMT-evening times, no TESTie is in the game. Instead, 99% of my time I'm playing SC together with my German community; which is o.K., we are having lots of fun! But as TEST is being such a HUGE organization, I'm asking myself: where are they??? Well, I'm hoping that someday on the HUD, when you are having a ship on your display, that also the organization sign is displayed for you can say "hi" and immediatly put this member on your buddy-list. This, and because you are all such wonderful people to chat with in this forum, I'm staying with you.
Haha, and I bought a SC Gift Card for my wife...The bills - they were all for Star Citizen ships and beer for you and your brother, I assume?
Hahaha, now THATS a MOST smart move, hahaha :joy::joy::joy:Haha, and I bought a SC Gift Card for my wife...
She doesn't play SC. Haha.
We shall certainly have to play together sometime once I get back to NL! Which is next month :DPositive, positive, positive, something positive. I got work to do! Yay, no boring office hours, ha! And I'm having lots of fun within Star Citizen. That said, most of my gaming time no TESTie is online. Love you all! Have a coffee!
So, under the line, TEST has healing aspects for you? Well, then make sure to get your daily TEST portion every day :DI second that, but.... supposingly everybody is waiting until more content is available in SC. Right now you can do good combat, a few missions and since 2.6 also FPS.
Allot of people don't like to do combat and prefer other aspects of SC like exploration, transport mining. They will wait until more content is available. I like combat so most of the time I won't go to PU because pirates in PU really aren't a big challenge. AC is divided in 2 kinds of play, NPC or PVP. The few times that I entered PVP everybody was flying in the best ships they could get. For the people like me that want to fly in every type of ship, PVP is just a slaughterhouse. One light fighter can outmanoeuvre one medium fighter, but in PVP most of the times it becomes all against the weakest to gain fast points. No fun in that, but 2.6 has brought some changes.
This was the reason why most of the time I fight against NPC, together with other players. It is much more fun to fight together with other people against vanduul or pirates. Pre 2.6 I even made it my personal goal to outfight the elite fighters (Sabres) with my non-Sabre fighters. The Sabre was my 4th fighter, but I only used it in one match of the TEST tournament.
Right now I'm practicing like hell with FPS because against all odds I still entered the TEST FPS tournament. Why did I enter a FPS tournament? Probably I will be the worst player in stats, but on the other hand I actually will other TEST members. I met the guys of The Beerjerker Brigade which in my opinion is the only band of brothers which almost always played with their own team mates, not relying on substitutes. RL can be a bitch.
It got me over the barrier of speaking. I'm very active on the forum, but speaking is a barrier for me. 1v1 is easy, but try to enter a RR or YJ meeting, you probably won't hear my voice often, but it gets better. That is what TEST is doing to me. Right now there are not allot members online, but when content will be added to the game more and more TEST members will join the game and I want to be prepared for that time so I can help out every TEST member I meet.
Yay, looking very forward to it! :)We shall certainly have to play together sometime once I get back to NL! Which is next month
It takes away barriers :grin:So, under the line, TEST has healing aspects for you?
It almost seems as if the difficulty is altered each wave when more people start and leave. The best thing you can get is reach wave 17, all others that are crippled with their last fighter die before the end of wave 17 and start wave 18 with all that are left in good fighters or fighters left. When I flew with my German buddies of SC HQ, in one session we where ripped apart and couldn't even reach wave ten - with four players! In the next session it was almost a walkthrough; the last one died in wave 18, I managed to kill the last ones (as written in the pirate swarm thread). That being said, I have to add that two of them had a connection failure and/or black screen. Otherwise it would have been even more easier to beat pirate swarm.
This is definitely a problem. Too often there are two or three people having a huge debate or argument and no one else has the opportunity to jump in.Regarding speaking in crowded rooms etc.: I've been in the TEST chat on Discord two or three times. But I don't know, its to much...people in there.
Sign me in!:thumbsup:My Fiancé has started her band up again, so I should have more game time now! Would be great if we could have a coffee and spaceship evening!
Ahh, okay. You mean, that surviving "co-gamer" are kicked for that the owner of the instance has to finish the last wave for him-/herself?It takes away barriers

My first PS went that way, in wave 17 I lost my last team mate and I successfully completed wave 18 alone.
As long as there is no moderation you won't have a chance to adress such suggestions for improvements; like it is in the Star Citizen forum here. Well, Montoya runs the party. So its his call how to run the forums and discord. And, under the line: the success of TEST shows that he is doing everything right. This is definitely a problem. Too often there are two or three people having a huge debate or argument and no one else has the opportunity to jump in.
It would be nice if those people went to another channel to have their discussions, but proper etiquette is hard to enforce.
Same here, would be cool to meet, chat and have a common Star Citizen session, yay!:thumbsup::beers:I'd be happy to jump in game with you and some others and go down to our own channel for the session.
Nope, I mean that the difficulty of a wave is determined according the amount of players that start that wave. If you start the 18th wave alone, it is much easier then if you start the 18th wave with 3 players and 2 get killed at the start of the 18th wave. When the 2 players die before the end of the 17th wave but stay until the end of the 18th wave, then I'm not sure if everybody gets the price or only the survivor.Ahh, okay. You mean, that surviving "co-gamer" are kicked for that the owner of the instance has to finish the last wave for him-/herself?
