Well, we don't have a function that allows us to close/delete our own threads sadly...So, you decide to bring it back from the dead? nice. :P

I highly doubt that the actions of one person will affect the entire org. Seriously, all you have to do is infiltrate a goodie goodie organization and break some laws and boom the entire organization is screwed. I just don't see SC devs doing that because would be too easy to screw over every organization in SC. Too early in the game to worry about player actions.Here is my thought on this, if a org get a reputation based on what a small amount of members or only what one does and that effect all in that org. How would one feel about it after playing for a month or two month trying to acquire a secure and very lucrative trade and finally succeed, then to suddenly get it ripped from your grasp. Just because some or one of the fellow org member/s couldn't keep their pants on and resist being a little to bad in the wrong place. Think I know that anyone would be furious and the effect toward that could probably be a internal war, is this the way we want it to go? I say it is not and shore hope you agree with that,
I know we have a loose, any one can play this game any way they want style in this org, which is one thing of many I love this org for :heart_eyes:
But if there is to be a org reputation that also affect the individuals reputation in that org.
Then I think we have to set up some basic "this is not okay rule" and "this is how far you can stretch that rule"
Go beyond that and there will be consequence for your action.
It is just a thought nothing more, it sounded very logic in my head :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
CHEERS :beers::beers::beer:
Yeah! that is more how I see too, but the thought just hit me like what if... but I am shore you are right there and do indeed hope so. ;)I highly doubt that the actions of one person will affect the entire org. I'm also waiting to hear more about how your character will be affected when doing illegal activity. I don't really plan on being a pirate but being more of a criminal mobster. Most likely I'll have to get a alt player just incase, but we will have to see how everything plays out.Yeah! that is more how I see too, but the thought just hit me like what if... but I am shore you are right there and do indeed hope so. ;)
So true I'm not spending any time worrying about it at all there is so much that is not set and will change.. as nothing is written in stone yet. ;)
Thread is outdated and can be closed.
You can't necro a thread, and ask people to not read and reply to it..Guys stop bumping it... xD it's really based on stuff that CIG has already been stated as not being the case.
LOL, Ikr. Makes me want to bump it even more.You can't necro a thread, and ask people to not read and reply to it..
What are we bumping?LOL, Ikr. Makes me want to bump it even more.
I'll respect the org as long as members run security for TEST. I see 1 option. Members running under another org colors as security isn't TEST but mercenaries for that org and are free game.As a practical matter, if TEST pirates attack convoys that are supposed to be protected by TEST security, how long do you think people will continue to pay for TEST security?
There are 2 options: 1) respect the org; or 2) the entire org is forced to play as pirates.
There is no middle ground, and #2 does not seem feasible.
EDIT: As a follow-up, one reason people may find TEST security to be quite worth its value, is if TEST pirates are rampant in an area. Being able to pay for guaranteed safe passage through an area is worth a premium compared to any other security group who wants to operate near us.
Our pirate King already gave us the go ahead awhile back :p since our org is so large we might run into TEST running security for non TEST ops. It was clear to us pirates that TEST members working as mercs for other orgs do not get a free pass and TEST pirates can attack that convoy. Since other orgs would just hire TEST members to run security and the pirates wouldn't have anyone to raid. TEST pirates will not attack TEST convoys though.I think that sort of policy is up to the leadership to decide, but what you say makes sense.
