I think the Sabre and Harbinger had a baby thats probably somewhere between a Vanguard and Retaliator.

Its going to have high straight line speed, 1 x S5 gimbal ballistic forward midline gun, 2 x S2 turreted ballistic midline similar in design to hurricane, 2 x S3 pylons on each wing, S3 - S4 torpedo carrier capability.

Stealth capable, S3 shield with high regen, low armor, low agility horrid dog fighter. Boom and Zoom possible scout and recon role. Long distance bomber.

That's a heck of a price-point for something that is JUST a stealth bomber. I hope that either the impressiveness of the Stealth cloaking is enough to justify the $$, or they give it another niche' function that explains all the extra zeroes.

He did? When?
I could be wrong but I read it in Spectrum this weekend. It's not on his twitter, so I'm searching Reddit. They said the pic that was sent out had UEE Bombing squadron on it but I didn't see where people pulled that from. Still trying to look and do my job, lol.

This may take a while, so assume I'm wrong till then.

Definitely gonna look at getting one if it IS a stealth bomber.

Love that concept of sitting in an asteroid field, everything off, running on suit oxygen, waiting for passive sensors to pick something up...
Something very Submarine about it all :D Plus more tension.. And the ability to go and get another beer super quick if you turn your speakers up..

My Guess.
EMP torpedos, low EM & IR signature (can sneak into enemy territory and hard to missile lock), NOT nimble/agile maneuverability. Not great weapon load-out for pvp, Decent enough armor and shields for evasive combat.

My best guess,

Synopsis: Short to medium range carrier based stealth bomber that relies on its distance to target and stealth capabilities in order to destroy its targets.

Crew Capacity: 1-2 personnel (Pilot and Weapons/Sensor Operator)

Guns: 2xS2 mounts and 2xS1 mounts (can install 2xS2 fixed and 2xS1 fixed or you can go down a size for the gimballed S1's on the S2 slots)

Turrets: None, because turrets have a very defined shape and are not very stealthy. Also, it will be more akin to a B-2 stealth bomber than a B-52 or B-17 which is what the Retaliator is based on.

Missiles: 2-4xS6 torps. These are the same Clear Skies torps featured on the Retaliator. Only reason I say 4 being a possibility is if you have 2 stacks of 2 torps then in theory it might fit but I'm honestly leaning to only having 2 of these S6 torps.

Shield size: S1 or S2. Small because to large an EM signature which would be bad for stealth.

Engines: Very stealthy engines that have a very low IR output. Probably not very fast and not very efficient for long flights but will get to most places in the short-medium range category unnoticed.

Cross section/Armor: Made for stealth which means it is made out of materials and its geometry is composed in a manner as to distort radar returns. Armor will be virtually non-existent. Again, made for stealth not for prolonged engagements.

Play style: For the person likes to lie in wait for their prey. Capable of very high alpha damage but its combat capabilities are greatly reduced once you have "launched everything" at your target. A great ship in order to get the drop on medium sized targets such as Constellations, Origin 600-series, Hull C-E (yes I know Hull D/E are massive but torps be bad for them), Drake Caterpillars, and any ships that are very limited in defenses such as the Endeavor. Also, may be great at stealth bombing targets planetside. Stationary targets such as buildings would be preferred over moving targets like rovers/dragonflys.

Other guesses: I think the wings will fold in order to permit carrier landing operations. Will probably be able to fit these in an Idris. Will demand a high skill level of play in order to survive most engagements due to the mechanics involved and the rapid analysis of situations as they unfold.

Endstate: I'm probably getting one.
