In order of where I would say: PSU, CPU/Mobo/Ram all at once, GPU.

Also the case will need to be changed down the line, the airflow will kill you once you start moving to higher power parts.

I was planing on buying a new one.
I just thought i would buy it with some other parts, since i where planing on upgrading my hardware anyway :D
What would you guys change on my settup? Ram? Gpu? Or rather the cpu?
Everything except maybe the case and the solid state hard drive. The reason:

You received a distress call from a fellow TEST pilot who you think is tripping out on some TEST shit (alcohol), but you've also heared from your friends that the sector that this distressed TEST pilot is in is a "bad" place to be. So you decide to help your fellow TESTie regardless and you use a jump gate. When you get there you realize not only is this a bad area but this is deep within vanduul space, and there is a huge space battle going on. Within seconds of your arrival you hear a hail from a capital ship, you accept this hail with amazement that the commander Chris Roberts is aboard that capital ship. You then realize that he's asking you to be his savior from the vanduul...

Now you have two choices, rescue your friend or save Chris Roberts. However when you approach the battlefield of flying scythes and M50's you start to frame stutter and your screen begins to tear, all this action is too much for your computer to handle. Then not seconds later your game crashes with an error that reads "These are not the fun times you are looking for".

So with that said what can you do. I'll give you some good advice...

Intel i7 4770k : http://www.microcenter.com/product/413248/core_i7_4770k_35ghz_socket_lga_1150_boxed_processor
ASRock z97x killer : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157505
AMD R9 280 : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121867&cm_re=r9_280-_-14-121-867-_-Product

What's the model number for the G-Skill RAM?

Corsair H90 : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181036

Keep everything else, this is $~707.96 USD and you will have a computer that will last you at least five years, three with maxing out settings. You could technically knock off at least $200 USD by buying a cheaper parts but overclocking them, however that's under user discretion. Also you don't need this right a way because this game is not even released yet.

Pending on where he lives, you can do even better for less as well. Only major thing wrong with the list above, no PSU. His is taxed to the max as is. Also, No clue if he can fit the H90 in his case. Can it take the 140mm?

If we switch the mobo and cpu around a bit, there is cost savings and can be put to a 290 (loads faster than the 280, $50 more) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131549

Right, I forgot all about the PSU even after looking at Corsair's newer PSU line-ups ....

I have a HX and a TX series PSU, and they both work great. I think the reason I forgot to even mention it was because the number of wattage that I needed was the last thing I looked at before buying the PSU. As for the CPU, don't change it, if you are going to change anything change the motherboard and I did say that you would maybe keep the case. If these items do not fit in that case then give it to charity or use it as a DIY server.
