Those answers make a lot of sense. It looks like they put a lot of thought into it. Basically, it is *the* luxury model touring/explorer...I was wondering how it compared to a Carrack (as well as to a Constellation) and this provided the answers.

They didn't' even answer this question correctly,

How many beds, toilets and save seats for passengers does a 600i Touring have?

"The 600i bridge has 3 seats for the pilot and crew members. The exploration module gives you a further 2 seats for the manned scanning stations. There is a dedicated captain’s quarters and beds for the remaining crew members in their quarters. Exact number of toilets is still to be determined, but you can probably expect at least 2 in the crew washroom and one in the captains quarters."

He asked about the TOURING model.. not the exploration model... it should have more seats should it not?

The 600i is not intended for passenger transport. It has sufficient facilities for 3 people. The exploration variant has facilities for 5, since it needs 2 more to run the scanners. Unless I'm mistaken it seems like they answered your question towards the end @DirectorGunner:

"Is the 600i Touring variant intended to be a money-maker in the realm of VIP passenger transport, similarly to the 890 Jump and Genesis Starliner?

The 600i is not intended as such to be a commercial vehicle. Where the 890 Jump and the Starliner are the luxury private superyacht and commercial people carrier, the 600i is on the compact end of the private yacht scale."

I suppose with auto turrets, you could replace crew with passengers, provided you can manage shields & power allocation on your own.

Mmmm. Glad I read that. Sticking with my Taurus and it's lovely big cargo hold

EDIT - Was it just me, or did they not talk about the thrusters they said "More on that later" about...?

EDIT - EDIT - Oh, no wait yes they did. When they said 'Thruster' I thought they ment mav thruster not main booster.

The tough thing about that is Passenger Transport and Touring as an industry isnt really fleshed out. Do the people transported count as a different form of cargo? What about attendants?

We need more colors in this crayon box.

Why is this ever a question? Why? The answer is always "yes you can but not most effectively."

Can the 600i be flown effectively solo?
The 600i is, fundamentally, a multi-crew ship. However, for its size is probably one of the most solo-friendly ships out of the box. By utilizing unmanned remote turrets and capable shields, a skilled pilot should be able to effectively pilot the 600i solo in most regards.

Seems like the only advantage it has is that it can go somewhat faster in a straight line. However it still can't outrun most fighters, so it'd be a nice looking fat target for pirates if it's without fighter escorts.
the 600i can't carry enough cargo loot to interest a pirate

we want ships that are easy to disable without destroying the cargo loot, like the Hull series

and there are better, stealthier ships for carrying small, high-value cargoes loot

Just uploaded this

How can they name a ship as a touring ship, and not providing the ship with any touring ability, there must be a law against such things.
My thoughts exactly
