Combat

I haven't done much combat since 3.0 I played a little vandull swarm back then and I could get to the 3rd round. Now it took me 15 minutes to kill the first one. Soo any tips/suggestions for combat.

ps. I only have the Aurora MR.

Tip: ignore combat until they finish the flight model rework. Anything you learn now will have to be forgotten and relearned on the new system.

Go as a team, overclock your powerplant and weapons

ps. I only have the Aurora MR.

2 or 4 guns? Use the best weapons you can get, S2 strife mass driver hits hard, doesnt deplete your power plant.

So, I agree with everything everybody has said! The flight/combat model is horribly broken, etc.

But, exactly as @marcsand2 said, face threats as a team. A lot of people like to think SC will be just like AC, but with more going on. However, even small coordinated teams will pick of the best single pilots. Now is as good a time as ever to get used to that; I need to get out more and practice with a group myself.
