There have been 13 newly confirmed cases since 3:00pm Tuesday.

Cases in aged residential-care facilities have poor outcomes

However age itself is not the only factor. Compare the data from aged in-home care cases.

I think the Swedish experiment can be concluded at this point.

Until next year its way to soon to be conclusive. As I've said before it could simply be that Sweden is front-loading their coronavirus deaths in a short time period and other countries with the stay at home mandate are simply stretching their coronavirus deaths over a longer period of time with a possible net outcome of similar deaths per million inhabitants.

Let's wait until Jan of 2021 death totals become available before totaling up the deaths by country and then seeing which one has the most deaths per million inhabitants.

About Sweden... "I'm Canada, I have twice the deaths of Sweden, but Sweden is a bunch of idots... look at them hahaha" - give me a freaken break. YOU are NOT right or wrong at this point.

Sweden (from google) - See those hills and valleys... it has remained consistent with a downward avg.

Don't think any of us are calling the Swedes 'idiots'. There may be disagreements with their Covid19 strategy but that's it. You're reading between the lines..again.

Canada has almost 4 times the population of Sweden. Canada is also neighbors with the country that has the most cases and deaths.....so yeah. Not sure what you're getting at.

Better to look at per capita deaths instead like @Bambooza said. That's a better indicator. Using that indicator, the US is actually doing well but that obviously differs from State to State.

Belgium actually has the most deaths per capita.

Goodness me, leave me out lol. I'm just armchair think tanking. I work as a film technician making bad TV shows. I'm dumb.
Have you seen the think tank publications to politicians? We can do that easily while drinking beer and they would pay us wheelbarrow loads of cash.

Good point.

Maybe I'll make enough money to fund and produce that Horror spec I've been working on.

When do we start?

When we stop publishing it for free on the internet and put a price structure up.

One condition - the dank memes and gifs stay.

Bit of bragging here but I worked with Kevin Smith when he directed an episode of a TV show. He's hilarious. Definitely a better writer than he is a director though lol.

I call bullshit. Look at Australia and New Zealand’s data. First world, excellent tracing and reporting. Both had very similar strategies and reaction times.

Compare with Sweden.

Apologies for my confusion here - the blue chart in your screenshots on Google is for new cases, not deaths...? The black chart is for deaths, like this one for the USA:

There isn't a deaths graph for Sweden on Google COVID-19 page?

You won't be surprised to hear Dogma had the most profound impact on me, what a work of perfection.

In my younger years I so wanted to travel to NJ to visit their Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash store. 3000 miles without a passport was a bit of a stretch though 😆

I like him but he's not in my opinion shall we say....a demanding director lol. He barely did any coverage, loved his long takes (of which he only did 1 or 2 per shot). We also did super chill 8-10 hour days which is unheard of in the industry. It was easy on the shooting crew as he didn't demand a lot but I definitely didn't envy the editors that had to sift through the dailies. Maybe he's more invested in his personal projects but having him 'guest' direct episodic TV was an interesting experience haha. 😂

Anyway....way off topic.

Back to the doom and gloom of a global Pandemic!!

@NaffNaffBobFace see that "little" number that is the deaths (delta)... wow I guess the world is falling. Look, I get it, per capita, but the data most folks subscribe to here is the data you want to see. Yes, another lesson in econ 101 - Data can lie. I am by no means an economic person... but I do remember my fundamentals. So, as everyone bashes America with its death rate, per capita does not apply, but when Canada is placed against a smaller population country, it does. Go figure.

The headline was "Sweden has highest death rate per capita"

Perhaps you misread the headline and thought it said highest death count, in which case I can understand your mistake.

You need to get into discord for some voice chat.
