So I completely skipped the 2000 series cards. I didn't see enough of a performance increase to warrant the upgrade. Sure, it had ray tracing, but my 1080 has been doing plenty good enough and those d*mn bit coin farmers have been running the price up way too high for me to justify the purchase.
But now there's the 3000 series and I'm finally jumping in. I just know buying one is going to be a sh!tshow though on release. It'll be a race to get one before the farmers and scalpers buy them out. So I've been trying to get all the info and rumors I can leading into it. So far:

- RTX 3080 is going on sale 9/17/2020 (allegedly at 6am Pacific time)
- RTX 3090 is going on sale 9/24/2020
- RTX 3070 is going on sale 10/15/2020
- Nvidia has a "notify me" sign up for email notifications when they are available
- Best Buy will have some 3080 stock arriving on the 16th (rumor)
- Newegg had some Asus 3080s in stock for about 20 minutes on the 9th (rumor)
- B&H had them available for preorder for short time (rumor and might have been a listing mistake)
