I think your letters might've gotten through since last Invictus returned to A18, so hopefully the same will happen for IAE soon.Well there is that.
Those damned space hippies maliciously luring me on to the top of the spaceport on foot and then setting the circumstances that meant I had no choice but to throw myself off the top to my doom if I didn't want a crime-stat, then handing me one anyway and trollishly sending me to GrimHex to awaken rather than putting me back in my 'Babbage Hab...
The series of unfortunate events which then lead to my getting an even larger crime stat, loosing my ship, my credits and reputation by serving time in Kelsher Correctional all stem from that initial prank by the NB flight control. I still continue to lobby the venue selection board of the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo and Invictus events to not sully their fine reputations with associating with the heinous service providers surrounding the convention centre on that planet.

I'm sure if you have visited that city recently you'll have spotted the rationed supply of bathroom paper in the habs only one or two rolls per room... Those hippies suffering will be long, drawn out and eventually oh so unpleasantly messy.
For the sake of their bathrooms, both public and private, I very much hope this is the case.I think your letters might've gotten through since last Invictus returned to A18, so hopefully the same will happen for IAE soon.
...unfortunately for everybody it looks like IAE is returning to Old Cabbage. For the sake of their bathrooms, both public and private, I very much hope this is the case.
In regard to venue, personally for ArcCorp and Crusader I feel the event could benefit from being off-world for those locations on a nearby moon... There is no clear ground at the main landing zones to try out ground vehicles so although this does encourage players to travel a little further afield to take their rented things for a spin it takes them away from the event too.
Saying that does admit Microtech is one of the best options and while much prettier than Loreville, there is no telling what those malicious hippies at New Babbage Traffic Control might try next.
Considering that the new Tumbril Storm tank is entering the Verse, it makes sense that the IAE would be held on either Microtech or Hurston for players to TEST those out. CIG probably chose NB over LV due to wanting to impress new backers with its cleanliness, considering how dirty so many areas in LV often are. Just my thoughts on why....unfortunately for everybody it looks like IAE is returning to Old Cabbage.
