    Please don't like my thread-campaign

Well it would help if I had written the whole thought. I drink coffee, and abstain from alcohol but I do not identify as a teetotaler. My reasons are medical, not philosophical. And the not writing the whole thought is part of the medical issue.

I am not one of those teetotalers, I drink coffee. But some might say my taste in music is just as bad. Or even worse.

Hurricane Watch - The Dorian Saga

I think Dorian needs to forget about Africa, and concentrate on getting out of the US too preferably with no drama. And maybe I didn't have enough corn dogs growing up, but to me it looks like North America has had thoughts of pissin on Cuba for millions of years.

Hurricane Watch - The Dorian Saga

That's an interesting way to look at it. I always thought... well. Florida looks a lot like something human male's use to pee. And what's it peeing on? Yeah.

Hurricane Watch - The Dorian Saga

People were a bit more prepared in a way. Not reliant on the electrical grid, frozen food, microwave ovens, and air conditioning. Those things started having a real impact in the 70's. But even before radio, you would have known a hurricane or tropical storm was in the region. You know...

    Montoya's thoughts on the Nautilus

I'm not so enthusiastic about the Nautilus, the design and purpose is kind of old school. It's also expensive and surprisingly large for its purpose. However this does not mean there is no purpose for the ship. It is capable of moving into an area alone to lay a minefield. It is also capable...

What does owning a "LUXURY" ship do for you (and Star Citizen)?

Yes of course. TL;DR Half blind navigator will work for beer. And cookies. I forgot that part.

What does owning a "LUXURY" ship do for you (and Star Citizen)?

Taking advantage of the audience metric for this thread. I have no luxury ships, and unlikely to ever buy one, but I have some relevant experience as a spaceship navigator. Resume of Vavrik An experienced Pilot Copilot Engineer Navigator seeking occasional employment. Selected relevant...

[VIDEO] Origin 890 Jump Grand Tour

I don't think I would ever get a ship like this, but everyone has a different set of goals, and some would align more with this than mine do. I think that thing is more of a high end mobile office than a battle ready capital ship, more for projecting an image. For me it's not impressive if it...

    This happened ...

lol. You could write a book... "Lessons my idiot friend who is always in trouble with his wife taught me"

    This happened ...

That happens all the time, but 90% of the time a wife can pin the blame on her husband. So that doesn't work often enough to bet your balls on it.

Testihol 2949 - with an unfortunate twist - SIGN UP FOR YOUR BOTTLES (Max of 10)

I think it's great that you have a hobby like this. Back in the 80's and 90's when my oldest kids were young we used to make beer, mead, and hard cider. The kids made soda's like root beer and grape soda. It was a lot of fun. Nowadays there isn't enough room and it probably violates a half...

    Citizencon 2949 Manchester (UK)

If you look at a map of North America, find 53.5 degrees North. Hint, in the US you'd have to be in Alaska to find it. That's how far North Manchester is. In a couple of months, it'll get dark at 4 PM, so don't be too jealous.
