If I read this document correctly (https://www.thebalance.com/air-force-enlisted-rank-insignia-history-3331700) then the rank chevrons shown are those that started to be used in March 1948, and so the pictures must have been taken after that date. That narrows the photographs down to early 1948...

I think that the aeroplane in the lower picture may be an A-26C Invader (designated B-26 between 1948 and 1965), serial number 44-34582, which was lost on December 9th 1952. The nose design matches this image on the a-26 Wikipedia page...

I don't know about Covert Ops, but I definitely fancy making use of the stealth mechanics to run stings. Run enough 'solo' cargo ships through an area, which in fact are actually escorted by Ghosts/Sabres, and we should definitely have a positive impact on the amount of piracy in the region.
