    IAE 2953 WB CCU watch

One consideration with regards to the Sabre WB on offer today: The Sabre is a $170 ship, with a $10 discount, taking it's price to $160. The SRV is releasing to flyable in a few days. It's current price is $150 (Below the Sabre's discount price), but will be increased on release: If it rises...

    Gatac Syulen first look!

I was about to post that video here - They really need to get Scooter involved with the promotional videos for ships when they release...

    IAE 2953 WB CCU watch

I just wish that I'd "collected" a few more of the Prospector CCU's during the foundation festival that also had the free armor included. At the time i didn't see any need for them...

    IAE 2953 WB CCU watch

First 2 days have given us: Sabre -> A1 Spirit -> San'Tok.Yai If this is a pattern for the event, of interlinked CCU's, I can see it being very expensive even without buying any new ships...

The making of an LTI Polaris (IAE 2953).

I doubt this will continue through the event, but the first 2 day's CCU's fit perfectly with the A1 "release to flyable" WB CCU's, giving a solid foundation with 7% savings for the Polaris...

    IAE 2953 WB CCU watch

As the A1 CCU's will be available all event, I'm holding out until the final days to grab my A1 CCUs in case either of those gets a WB CCU... Otherwise it'll be a 50:50 split.

    IAE 2953 WB CCU watch

One note on the SAN'TOK.YĀI: If looking to CCU from permanently available ships, the Constellation Taurus is still a valid choice, albeit with certain precautions: As the Constellation Taurus is permanently available, you can buy a $5 CCU to it from the Sabe Comet (for either credits or cash)...

Sorry - Typo: I meant Taurus :) Going back to fix that...

PSA: Ship price increases occuring at IAE.

Something to bear in mind with these price changes: Although CIG state they take effect on day 1 of the event, in the past they have updated the prices on the manufacturer's day. If this is the case (Which can be checked on day 1, or any day after), there is a 2 day window between when the...

The making of an LTI Polaris (IAE 2953).

Oh, it will fill out - I just wanted to add as much as I could now, to simplify things during the event, and not knowing what the discount CCU's for each day will be in advance (outside of BIS, for which the ships are known, but not the savings) it's not possible to provide much further detail...

PSA: Ship price increases occuring at IAE.

The timing on this is unfortunate, with IAE so close. I'm thinking I'll just wear the price rise on the F7C-M (I need 13 Vulture-F7C-M's in my active chains), as I'd prefer to have the funds available in case something more important to me releases next week... I may end up regretting this, too...

PSA: Ship price increases occuring at IAE.

Hull E was already priced well above both the C and D (and is also hull limited), which is possibly why they held off - Once evelopment on the D and/or E starts, I'd expect they'll jump (much?) further in price. The Orion was a surprise, given no work has been done on it and the window for the...

PSA: Ship price increases occuring at IAE.

Well, the Hull D "needs" an increase as it is currently priced below the smaller version of the same ship (Hull C), so it is somewhat understandable. The Orion was possibly increased in price to squeeze the new RSI mining ship between it and the MOLE (although that leads to the question of just...

PSA: Ship price increases occuring at IAE.

As announced by CIG today- https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/1/thread/intergalactic-aerospace-expo-2953-pledge-updates-2/ It's probably worth mentioning that if anyone has warbond CCU's starting from these ships, they could become $0 CCU's or even "negative savings"...

The making of an LTI Polaris (IAE 2953).

It's just a shame that certain ships in the announced price rises aren't available for sale between the announcement and the price rises... It would have been nice to have the rises staggered (lowest priced ship to highest, with a moderate - say 1 day - gap between them), so that some could be...

The making of an LTI Polaris (IAE 2953).

Changing CCU options: Pre event starting point: LTI option: Drake Cutter Scout (CIG announced via email that it would be on sale until November 30, suggesting possibility that no cheaper LTI option will be available) CCU options: A1 Spirit ($175, saving $25) Acquiring a CCU to this ship from...

The making of an LTI Polaris (IAE 2953).

Following on from the moderately successful The making of an LTI Perseus earlier this year, and with news that the Polaris will be flyable within the next 12 months, it's time to look into what can be saved on a Polaris through ships and CCU's available at IAE 2953. This time, however, I will...

999th TEST Squadron still possible to earn!!!

It's interesting to see that "Team Tank Battle" returns to the lineup on the same day that Tumbril will be on display at IAE: It would be nice if that meant we'd be seeing the Storm included this time around.

    Upcoming Subscriber Flairs (Updated regularly)

There was one subscriber update - The old subscriber armor sets which were previously sold piece by piece have had those individual components removed from the store (and buyback queues), with the complete set now being sold at a higher price than the combined price for the individual components...
