This is exactly what I want from Star Citizen. You work your way up, and eventually you have your way of making money - be it mining or trading or escort missions or whatever - run by NPCs. Sure, they wont be anywhere near as effective as player-run stuff, but they still make money. Then you grab your luxury ship of choice (Connie Phoenix, all the way :slight_smile: ) and you go do whatever, only intervening if you feel like it.

My first ship was an Origin 300i because the luxury theme hooked me so I hope one day to own a 600i bought in game or depending on the cost a 890 jump. All bought in game, these will be pretty high goals to achieve I believe as they are like buying yauchts today, you need lots of money.

Not to seem like a jerk, but if she left because you purchased an Aurora (most likely your starter package), then I'm pretty sure that your Aurora & we crazy TESTies have kept you warmer at night than she did.

I use to have a GF like that who tried to make a huge deal out of every little thing I spent money on (like vehicle repairs) all while her parents would give her the funds for her to get whatever she wanted. I never bothered listening to her hypocrisy & I eventually dumped her just because I knew I'd be happier single than with her regardless of how much I cared about her.

IDK about flak weapons (I sure hope so, that would be awesome. AoE burst but lower damage sounds radical) but if they make a S4 pyroburst that would be hilarious. Just see 32 plasma shotguns blowing everything to bits without even aiming.

Rate of fire is too low if you have more than a couple of moving targets.

I just melted my Glaive. I had a Hammerhead in my cart, but I decided to hold off to see what sexual favors...er, I mean, ships the other manufacturers had to offer. I feel good about this ship though. This thing and an Eclipse ought to provide pretty good cover for my big guys without running back and forth for fuel and stuff, like with a bunch of smaller fighters.

"Can't Touch This" refers to the doors of the Cutlass and Connie that get stuck and are unclickable in 3.0.

at least you can get into 3.0. Started off getting error 30003 when I tried to get into the 'verse- verified installation, now I just get black screen and music when I try.

Well in the end decided to melt a few smaller ships for this i.e. caterpillar (maybe good with modules but no I do not want to buy more modules), vandal blade (soime regret about this), and cutlass blue (less about this, I have a cutlass red anyways). Sadly I have no cargo hauler at all but heh If its fun I can buy one in game right!

I won't be getting a Hammerhead. I want to keep my fleet as small as possible and 4 ships are already too many for me.
I'm just waiting for MISC day (this Thursday) to see if they make the Endeavor modules available.
