I'm guessing you're not applying it because the Redeemer will likely be flyable before the Banu? Or still undecided about which one you'd rather have?
Those two ships are the same price, right?, as in a $0 CCU? You could also pick up a Banu -> Redeemer CCU just in case you want to switch it back. I'm still sold on the Banu though. It should be a very fun ship!

Also the Vanguard is the same 0$ CCU. I picked up 3 Redeemer -> Vanguard CCUs and vice versa so I can try them both out, although the Redeemer seems more up my alley.
Actually I'm just not sure if I want to have a BMM atm. A free upgrade is nothing to sneer at. My fleet has done more and more non-combat as time has gone on because of what I want to do. a BMM would make sense. I could also pick up a Caterpillar CCU soon if i wanted to.

Is it backwards that I feel more shameful about EVERYTHING ELSE I've purchased?
(Some things are in flux right now but) beyond my Endeavor, I'm honestly thinking about just melting anything else I have, picking up an Aurora LX, a Mustang Alpha, and a Reliant, and turning the rest into subs or physical merchandise. The little bit I've gotten to play the PTU has really shown me I'd much, much rather earn everything in-game than start out with the ship I want.
It's a weird feeling.

I saw that as well! I agree with the logic there! Since the Vanguard and the Redeemer are both military/combat ships, and I have the Vanguard LTI from the initial offering. I actually have three sets of the Vanguard -> Redeemer/ Redeemer -> Vanguard also instead of switching between the Redeemer and the Banu. I figure I'd only want one of the combat ships (leaning toward the Vanguard), but it still might be fun to play around between then in the mean time. I'll leave my Banu out of the equation since I know i'd want that.
Any other $0 CCU pairs that you've picked up? I picked a couple of CCU pairs between the SuperHornet and the Gladiator.
I feel you on that! I was debating whether I'd rather have a Caterpillar or a Banu, since I presume I wouldn't end up being able to use both, and can get LTI on either one. I guess I've got until the end of the sale to make up my mind!
What would be the better escort for a reclaimer? 'tali or redeemer? I have a base 'tali now with an aft torpedo module.(for a total of 6 torpedoes, I believe)

I'm still torn on the subject of my Starfarer. I don't know if I want to keep the upgunned Gemini, or swap to the more efficient base model.

I got a Blue -> Xi'an Scout CCU, and a Herald -> Warlock CCU. I think the only other ones are the Titan -> Reliant, and the Crucible -> Carrack -> Reclaimer -> Orion quadfecta, but I'm sure I'm missing some.

Meh. Don't feel bad. Either lurk for a $30 discount package or just pony up the extra 15 for a full price. I kinda expect 2.0 to go public this weekend or early next, so grabbing a game package is not that urgent right now unless you really want to get some stick time in before it means anything.

100% guarantee it will not be going public this weekend, due to the sheer lack of stability right now. But they've been pushing pretty hard to fix it, so that's a good sign.

My worst decision was melting my old Connie legacy Alpha package instead of CCUing it to an Endeavor. In the end, I still haven't spent a dime yet but I had to do some shuffling to get back to my comfort zone:
Connie upgraded to Aquila package - melted
Retaliator base, Dropship & cargo module all with LTI - melted
Star G with LTI melted
Left me enough creds to do the following:
Alpha starter upgraded to Star G
Endeavor standalone
Avenger Titan w/ LTI
(2) Archimedes for the LTI. I am not really into racing much so I will probably melt at least 1 but possibly 2 and CCU them up to Star G & Endeavors (after remelting them)
After that, I'll still need a game package so I'll spend another $45 and just grab another Alpha. I know I could have done this more efficiently, but sometimes the cart really does get ahead of the horse whether you want it to or not. In the end, I could have just waited until this weekend and sit back and relax instead of freaking out like a madman and trying to plan around the sale scheduling. Lesson learned for the (hopefully future) SQ42 launch sales.

I was also on the fence but I think the Star G's limitations compared to the base model are a fair trade off assuming we get better SCU details
Okay, just CCUed the 'tali for a vanguard warden and store credit so it didn't hurt that much. Reclaimer tomorrow and I'm done(read "dead broke"). Jelly beans and kool-aid for thanksgiving! Just like the pilgrims!
Why not use the store credit on a Harbinger BUK, then you still have a Torpedo option?
