Speed and height is what always got 'em through, and that's what got them supplanted by IBCMs and MLRS as the bombardment option choice, really.no turrets ever worked well, which is why no contemporary bombers include them.

Perhaps arm the drones after they've entered the game? But. . .but, I wanna love the Carrack and I don’t. Maybe after the drones and modules are working. Does anyone know when modularity comes if it comes for the Carrack and Vanguard, or is it just the Tally?
I have a feeling combat drones will not be a thing. Combat in SC much like starwars is much more akin to ww2 then any modern or true future combat would be. It's all in keeping with the fps game play mechanics to get players to engage each other in a fast pace struggle against each other with in the limitations of a visualy rendered computer world.Perhaps arm the drones after they've entered the game?
Fair, but then there are the mines that players can place & leave to do things to without the players being there to manage directly.I have a feeling combat drones will not be a thing. True but when you look at mines they act as a prestaging element vs an active combat element in so much the take time to place and thus change the battlefield shape much like picking ships and loadouts prior. Combat drones could be used as a sort of aoe effect.Fair, but then there are the mines that players can place & leave to do things to without the players being there to manage directly.
Hollywood World War 2 not real World War 2. Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica appears to be the philosophy. TTK is very high for that though.I have a feeling combat drones will not be a thing. Here here! To think how many countless hours we have enjoyed in this unfinished game. Even when all you could do was drive around a hanger at look at the outside of partially completed ships. Or trying to land on asteroids that existed as set dressing around Port Oolisar. As I have no say in how things are done, created, controlled or regulated in Star Citizen, like most things, I do my best to enjoy what I can while working to overcome the things I don't. Yub nub, my friends.
