So this isn’t Disney, but it’s worth reporting that The Witcher, Rings of Power and now The Wheel of Time are all now dead—killed by psycho-feminism.
For those not familiar, WoT was staffed with women only, and the three main protagonists who are all men, were replaced with women. The male audience tried to like it and found themselves unable. So it is dead.

As much as I like Rosario Dawson as an actress, I’ve always been disappointed with her light sabre skills. In Clone Wars and Rebels, her portrayal is of a lithe figure that is lightning fast. In the live portrayal Dawson gets through the moves but they always seem white belt, stuck together with no fluidity. I really wish Disney had cast a dancer instead. Summer Glau comes to mind, from her remarkable scenes in Firefly and especially Serenity.

Luthen Rael might be the most compelling character Star Wars has ever given us.
Not a Jedi.
Not a soldier.
Not a politician basking in the spotlight.

So the latest statements from Disney are that Kathleen Kennedy will be replaced by both Tony Gilroy (Andor), and Dave Filoni (Ahsoka).

The Witcher, Rings of Power, and Tye Wheel of Time all crashed and burned for the same reason: they were all more interested in force feeding the audience trendy ideology than simply making good stories.

Disney re-released Snow White just to see if they could gather more all-time low awards. In 1,300 theaters they sold $300,000 worth of tickets, meaning theaters on average had 20 people in them. New record.
Ironheart is getting trashed by the critics. Repeated complaints about terrible writing, tedious to sit through (6 episodes), passionless story, and mediocre action sequences. No complaints about the acting, but laments the actors were not given anything to work with.
So sad. Marvel was doing so well a decade ago. I can think of many dozens of scenes that totally rocked from so many projects. Now we have this.

Ironheart Star says the showcasing of “DEI is more important than the story itself”, which seems to explain why everyone is complaining about the poor writing. Disney refuses to learn from its mistakes.

James Gunn confirms Ana De Armas will be the next Wonder Woman. I personally much prefer her to Gal Gadot, whom I never had an objection to. I would make this a positive move for Marvel and Disney.
