Great news, in a way, but I'm hoping that you don't have to completely close out your account! Really, this is for the best, I think, you get all / as much as your money back as you can. Selling to us vultures would probably result in you getting some fees and/or people all wanting to buy the most coveted ships, but leaving you with some ships that nobody would want...

I hope everything works out!

I'm glad they are working through your request quickly maybe when you talk to the specialist you can request to be able to rebuy your whole account when things improve so then you don't have to lose anything. Like i said it doesnt hurt to ask they are always willing to help out if you are polite. I asked for the jav model and poster with my jav and poof they gave it to me just for asking. Like i said if you set up a gofundme id donate 30 usd to you no problem. and who knows maybe there are others out there who may help you also who can relate to your situation.

@Blind Owl -- were you able to keep anything/keep your account? It sounds like sometimes people want/need a full refund, and other times people need all the money they can get, but still keep a ship so they can keep their account
Sorry for the long response lads, Crude and I are with family out west, celebrating the life of our Grandpa.

Yes, I kept my Tumbril Cyclone, and with that I kept my account, all my perks, all my hanger flair, etc. I even kept all my 0 dollar CCUs and all my buybacks.

I made it clear to CIG that I loved the game, and that the refund was strictly for a family emergency. They were most helpful.

He isn't part of the org at all, so this one is not important :slight_smile:
Under his profile it does say hes an Affiliate if you look under his organization tab and he put his members introduction in i beleive a few days ago not sure how @Montoya would rate it as. Looking at his primary org it's only 6 members large so i would in my mind consider him a part of test depending on how active of a member he was. Either way he isnt at 3 months.

@Montoya what would you consider as a member of test in your words.(Oppinion or law both are cool with me just for my own information not related to this post.)

Sorry guys. should have kept you all updated, but things have been hectic. I've had a couple of replies from an agent, but these have both been apologising for the delay getting a specialist to look at my request. Still waiting to hear back on any decision though.

I'll keep you more informed, again sorry. Been a smidgen stressful.

TBH I'm hoping I might have managed things and that I won't need to liquidate my fleet, fingers crossed I've managed to cover things. But won't know that for a couple of weeks or more. Again I'll keep you all in the loop.

Once again I just want to thank you guys for the outpouring of support and messages, the whole situation sucks, but you guys have managed to help ease the sting with your advice and positive thoughts.

Canada was one of the 3 countries I looked at emigrating too, if we ever left the UK. Unfortunately my wife is nesh (feels the cold, a lot!) and wasn't keen on the idea :laughing:

Fantastic glad things are working out. when im having money problems i put myself on a strict budget. walk more eat ramen and become a hermit in the dark. you would be surprised how much you can save by doing this.

I know it takes time for them to get to people, but hopefully they can get to you soon and iron things out. It sucks that it is stressful, but, I'm thinking it would also be stressful having to deal with a bunch of vultures like us, who want ships cheap, lol. I'm hoping with CIG you can get your money back and even save a ship or some CCU's and other account things (like @Blind Owl ) so you can pop back into the game later, without having to start over from scratch.
