what do you have against pokemon? Sims can totally count as well, if you put enough time in it. Phone games I agree with you. But really, pokemon is serious business. When pokemon X came out, I put 100 hours into it in the first week. There are competitive tournaments where the winners receive free college at a school of their choice. Breeders often spend thousands of hours breeding the perfect pokemon so that they can even come close to competing at the highest levels. Along with that, there are third party competitive leagues where thousands of dollars that you don't have to spend on college are on the line. Just because Pokemon is popular with kids, doesn't mean it isn't serious for those old enough to understand the more complex systems.

it's way more accurate than you know... I played in class in high school, and people you'd never expect to play would wander over and start giving me pointers. I was surprised at how 100% socially acceptable playing pokemon as a teenager is. Most just used emulators on their phones and didn't have a 3DS, but a massive number of people played.

I tried to watch Pokemon and play Pokemon, but I was already into watching pornography and playing D&D by the time Pokemon came out. And apparently those are not socially acceptable things to do in the grade school

Having thought about this and it might have been stated already. I think a good majority of us are well over that age, but I don't think many, if any, ACT over that age.
