For those of us unfamiliar with the store, is there a fixed mount that can put a pair of BEHR C-788 Ballistic Cannon into the S5 chin slot on the Vanguard? That would seem my kind of S4 love.

Nope, you are looking for a turret, but right now it is only available for the Hornets if you have a Super Hornet, not in store, and it would cost one additional size. Out of my head, Hornets have a S5 slot. You can put a S4 fixed flash mount in it or a 2x S2 turret. As far as I know there still aren't any 2x fixed gun mounts, but the dual still would cost 1 size. Turret is gimballed so 1 extra size down. The best you would get is a dual S3 fixed gun mount.

I think the SuperHornet has an S4. It's the Vanguard that has an S5. It will mount an S5 gun fixed, so it should fit a pair of S4 fixed with the right mount.

The Hornets have a S5 mount. The flashfire can hold a fixed S4 gun or a dual S2 turret. S5 to turret + gimballed + dual = S2 weapons.
