I love it, the sound is very rich and warm, it's great for video/movies. I have not tried the headphone connection because I use Audio-Technica headphones through a Mayflower Electronics DAC for gaming.
Very nice!!!

Well, the triple watercooled R290 setup had served me really well over the last ~3 years. After being able to test an RX480, an R9 Nano, An R9 Fury, a GTX1070, I decided the old gen R9 Nano / Fury / Fury X was the way to go as they are a CHUNK faster than the RX480 in several things I needed including Star Citizen.

I know you full on PC Gamer guys will say - why piddle with these silly AMD cards, why not buy Nvidia 1060/1070/1080? Much better than AMD. And you'd be right. For gaming. My mates got a GTX1070 just for star citizen and it's a great card.

Unfortunately when not gaming I need AMD Compute power (and as much of it as possible). The last Nvidia card I bought was a GTX480 :D (OMG that was a screamer I actually lost a girlfriend over that card).

So here's the new rig. I got these cards on a really good deal. Too good to pass up.

All I can say is. Holeee shiiiiiiiit these are awesome cards the cooling is outstanding and are so powerful. So powerful that my poor PSU shut off when they were at full load. :o I did some quick maths on the power and I got the maths wrong, at full pelt the system was using 950w. Oops!

Got a EVGA 1300w in there now and all is well, the most I've managed to pull whilst screwing the shit out of this bad boy is 1100w :o

It's been along time coming I only upgrade the big rig once every 3+ years.

Ps it also just about runs Star Citizen :D
