I've got an uuuuugly feeling that the Stinger is the 'Duul F8 superfighter... So, limited release if released at all, plus the Espiria Xinotax - I would not be surprised if they ask for $500+ clams for that thing.

I have a question. Why would ANYONE buy a Herald or a Caterpillar with 48 month insurance instead of buying an LTI 85X and CCU-ing to one of the two ships? They don't even come with Takuetsu models.
I think they should just make all ships purchased before release have LTI. People who care about LTI will get it anyway (because it's easy to use tokens) and people who don't care about LTI will continue not to care. It's not a privilege anymore, it's a nuisance (again, for people who actually do care about it).
Also, I think this would incentivize people to get more of the ships they actually want for the PU before launch (because after launch LTI won't be offered anymore), thus funding the development more.

Well, to be honest: 48 months = 2 years of netto(!!) gameplay. That said, its almost like LTI. After playing two years, you will probably have so much ingame funds that you can prolongate the insurance runtime easily to the max (whatever runtimes will be available then - perhaps LTI? That would be funny :smile:).
My suggestion: CIG is not offering LTI with the "Anniversary 2016"-ships because - following the logic of most of the RSI community members - there would be LOTS of "mimimi" by the concept sale buyers.

Last point: you simply can't CCU to the Herald - currently. Its not offered. CCU to the Cat, I don't know if this one works. But it doesn't matter, looking to the 48 months of insurance. That really is no point for me NOT to buy one of these ships.
The herald was available for ccu today. Don't have one. Yet. Haha
Ah, okay, thanks brother, then it was a bug perhaps yesterday? Who know.s I don't like the Herald, and me fleet currently consists of fuel&repair and exploration ships. Plus the Terrapin for deep space scanning, for when TEST is going on a raid so I can check if space is clear ;) I'm totally looking forward to it and am thinking that the Terrapin will become a highly valuable member of the fleet :slight_smile:

I'm going to get one now, Josh has done an absolutely fantastic job on it by the looks of things.
I've always liked the general idea of the cutlass, but it was so badly put together I just couldn't be doing with it.
Plus, I need a small general purpose ship, and can't stand the freelancer.
Hot damn that looks better. I am so glad I kept my cutlasses.
Like where the guns are sitting now, much tighter grouping. She's still big but looks more compact, almost doesn't need the front landing gear, could rest the ship on those lowered canards...
I was holding onto both just in case, but I may flush my DUR now, upgrade her to something else. I do love my Cutty.
