As this thread is derailed already , I'd like to mention that real TEST ships are only those that are either auroras or could use auroras as an ammo )

I think what is needed is a space trebuchet to hurl our Auroras at the enemy.

I would bet money that hte Alexander class destroyer will be like the Bengal carrier. While its in game you cannot park it in a hanger or permanently own one.

As a point of sanity, it may be prudent to wait and see where things are at after CitizenCon before deciding. Some of us have closed wallets until we see some more improvement in core systems or SQ42
