I think it's more likely it's land claims from the Pioneer tbh. Boring, but people were clamoring for them.
And if they took the EVA mancannons away from the Caterpillar (because they said it was too hard to implement) and added it to a CO ship of all things holy balls am I going to be salty.

uee doesnt make ships though they pay someone else to. example would be aegis eclipse

It's an anti-explorer ship. It's a pub and the drinks are cheap and come in gallon sized glasses.
