Which ship would you buy if you could only choose to have one with LTI?

MISC Endeavor Hope-class. Someone has to pick up the pieces of all the crashed TESTies and reassemble them. Plus, I've been told that the hospital is functional enough to do, uh, body 'augmentation' stuff, like, elective surgery, things, where the real credits are.

Its not really answering the question but I think the best way to get into this game is to only have one ship at all. It is kind of hard to pick which ship that would be at the moment since well apart from looks non of the roles are in and even then its years till release so they will all change. So if you love the idea of a role i.e. exploring I would probably pick a terrapin but otherwise would go with a general purpose ship, these vary by cost but Aurora, Avenger are the cheaper options with Cutlass and Van as you middle cost options with Constellation being the largest I would consider although its combat potential is currently in big doubt.

So I would go cutlass blue if you can take the cells out (who knows, NB yes we have been told but until its in it is just a promise and we all know how good they are!) for general purpose. Cutlass black if not or a specialsit

I'd really like more info on the Starliner. I have a CCU in buyback, and she entices me...
Dunno though, haha. I already have a Cat, BMM (which may become a Carrack), and a Reclaimer. Do I need another large ship? :P

I wish there was more definitive information on her.
Well heres what I know about the Starliner.

85m double deck. Lower I believe is for cargo.

However the whole thing can be converted as a cargo carrier for vehicles and other stuff much like this

Has a total of 8 crew however most of them will be involved with delivering service to customers. Would just hire NPC's.

Comes with 2 capital or heavy shields, dont know what S7 would be in the new nomenclature but thats twice the carrack shielding and 1 S5. Not really meant for combat.

Heres the real kicker. It has 6 x S7 powerplants (new nomenclature large size powerplants?). Thats a butt load of power especially to shielding and engines.

Has 4 x TR7 engines. Basically not only capable of carrying cargo but is fast. Cargo is listed at 400 scu but not sure whether this is with or without passengers. Unless CIG does some handwavium and keeps it slow this has a high amount of power to size ratio.

Now all of this means that either the ship gets larger or they nerf the stats like they did the Phoenix.

This is in the vault for their 3d structure.

400 series?
400 series is actually just a forum rumor for freelancer ship size while the 600 series is goingt to be probably constellation size.
So line up would be
<100 Snub / racing
300 fighter size
400 freelancer / cutlass size (also possible "real" fighter and freelancer cutlass would become 500)
500 ?
600 constellation size
700 ?
800 capital size

The lore story gives us the idea that its single person flyable unlike a multi crew connie.

Jett Barnes had never been to Orison on Crusader. The two-time Sataball Professional League MVP turned prominent Terra businessman and philanthropist had traveled extensively throughout the UEE, but never stood on the iconic city’s floating platforms. Following a June 26th business meeting on ArcCorp, he told associates of his plans to finally visit the sprawling shipyards over the massive gas giant owned by Crusader Industries. He climbed into his Origin Jumpworks 600i and took off toward the planet. Tragically, he never arrived.

Probably my Knox cause i can see myself crashing it a LOT!!! but realistically I'd probably keep my Cutlass Black on LTI as it's pretty versatile and would be good to always have about

Personally I think the ship you LTI should be the one that a) You see yourself using the most, and b) The one that is most expensive. If say I want to take my Freelancer out the most, and it's the second most expensive ship I have, I'd still LTI it, cause I know I'd be putting her at risk more.

Elective surgery you say.... Looks like someone should do a space version of Nip/Tuck and get rich off of making giant space boobies. That's right... Space boobies. The Dur called dibs.

I hadn't really thought too much about medic jobs in the verse until now. Leave it to Noobifier to completely sell me on it. Seems like it would be really fun.

Yeah i'm in the market for a luxury ship but not sure if I really want one yet.
Do it.
If you want to you can also chose a ship which somehow has been announced
@Black Sunder
600 series or 400 Series which might have some potential for me
He's talking about the Stinger or something like that. A fake ship, through and through. He's in denial.

I'd go with my Cutlass Black. I wish I knew better in my younger years before I upgraded my non-LTI game package ship to the Cutty. The shame of not having LTI will follow me forever.

Actually, I'm half expecting/half hoping that they just start selling LTI packages before launch.

There was mention of variants but no plans to produce them as of yet. We have to wait and see. This is all we know.

Transit companies use several different configurations for the Genesis starliner, usually classified as luxury, mid-range and essential (bare bones.) Because every starliner is significantly modular, there is no one standard example of each type. More complex models typically carry fewer passengers but with additional amenities (lounges, food options, personal quarters.) The essential model focuses more on bulk cargo and less on crew and passenger comfort. The model available in the concept sale today is the forty-person mid-range class.

Private individuals have also been known to purchase starliners for their own use, most frequently outfitted yacht-style with individual cabins. The frame is frequently used by professional racing teams, who modify the interior to store and repair small racing ships like the M50 and their support equipment.

The United Empire of Earth military also modifies the standard Genesis spaceframe for a number of different roles, including a troop transport, patrol hunter-killer, SWACS/C&C platform (referred to informally as the Starlifter, Starhunter and Starseeker) and even as an advanced aerospace prototype testbed! Imperator One, a highly customized Genesis starliner with added security and luxury features, is used to ferry the sitting Imperator when they travel off-world.

I know waiting can be hard so I shall leave you with this while you wait
