Though I'm not Canadian, I do appreciate the service of armed forces service members like yourself. Thank you! :)
Is that for when I have to run so much I puke?get some motrin from your medic. You'll be fine.
Same. So if you end up that way send me a PM. I transitioned from infantry to PSYOP and it was a smart move. Deployments are more enjoyable but more plentiful. Are your PSYOPs the same as ours: Psychological Operations? If so, there's a decent chance I could end up working neither you. PSYOPs is a branch of Int here in Canada.
10: Pull the pin, THEN throw the grenade@CrudeSasquatch Good luck buddy ! you'll do great!
Things to remember:
1: get drunker than everyone to prove you're the better man.
2: offer drill sergeants tips on how they can improve their training style
3: tell jokes during long boring speeches by commanding officers to keep morale high
4: have sex with everyone available and don't wear condoms
5: complain about the food
6: cry in your sleep
7: always set your gun down and forget where it is
8: drink plenty of milk before running
9: sleep in every day
Did I forget anything?
I shall man, for sure. I'm in the midst of my transition from Combat Engineer (7 years) to Intelligence Operator. One month left then it'll be posted and working in my new trade. I don't regret it at all. I'm too damn old to keep shitkicking myself in the Engineers, haha.Same. So if you end up that way send me a PM. I transitioned from infantry to PSYOP and it was a smart move. Deployments are more enjoyable but more plentiful.
Haha, think Pauly Shore, "In the Army now". He's become a WFE Tech. Water, Fuel, Environment Technician. Highly specialized, highly trained, and provides for a hell of a career post military should he decide. He was the only one accepted to the trade this year. Basically he will take care of all the systems that the base uses for water treatment, geothermal plants, and environmental concerns. That's at home. Overseas he'll do the same for any camps we have abroad, and will most likely get a bunch of humanitarian missions, disaster relief etc, as his trade is the one who knows the ins and outs of the ROWPU (reverse osmosis water purification unit). Apparently water is essential in disater situations. ;)Congrats @CrudeSasquatch !!! What's your specialty  Hope it isnt lugging around 82mm mortars like my cousin did.
Much too kind.CrudeSasquatch,
In the short time I've gotten to know you through your posts and hear you on Discord, I come to think of you as an intelligent, well adjusted young man, I am so much older than you, who is a credit to his family, his Country and this Organization. Credit goes to your parents for raising you properly. To ask you to do your best and make everyone in your life proud would be to state that which you have already achieved. But I'm going to say it anyway. Make us proud and do your best. And remember that when you return to civilian life, there will always a seat on my ship and a cold one in my fridge for you!
Fellow Testies let us all raise a glass of whatever you care to drink to the honor of CrudeSasquatch. A man among us all and one hell of a Testie!
Cheers to CrudeSasquatch!!
So what you are saying is after he finishes his training @CrudeSasquatch will be a true asset during the zombie apocalypses.Haha, think Pauly Shore, "In the Army now". He's become a WFE Tech. WFE fits @CrudeSasquatch's personality to a T. He can be a hippy in the Army. Haha.
It's a trade I wish I'd know about when I joined, that's for sure. I steered him well clear of the Combat Arms. At 34 he doesn't need to be putting up with that kinda belt fedcockcrap. Ha
I was second in my class at AIT. I did small arms repair, much easier than what you are doing. I think the guy who got first in the class slept through most of it.Much too kind.
Now I'll have to actually pass basic and my school course absolutely at the top of my class just to maintain the example TEST has provided me. Work hard and save the beers for the cockpit.
Hey man, no pressure. :metal:Now I'll have to actually pass basic and my school course absolutely at the top of my class just to maintain the example TEST has provided me
Hahaha, think Eugene in TWD. ;)So what you are saying is after he finishes his training @CrudeSasquatch will be a true asset during the zombie apocalypses.
More like Scotty from New Startrek except back when he was in Shawn of the DeadHahaha, think Eugene in TWD. ;)
Only better. Because TESTie, and a real person. But most of all, because he's @CrudeSasquatch.
Ha. Haha. Keep your zombie friends close.More like Scotty from New Startrek except back when he was in Shawn of the Dead
That makes two of us.My god I can't wait to hear your stories of basic. Haha
